HICKORY FALLS GUEST HOUSE

We just happened across this place online, and it far exceeded our expectations. We had a great experience with a friendly and accommodating staff, even helping me with printing some documents that I needed for work. The view from the front porch was incredible and they even had complimentary binoculars in each room so we could take full advantage and a white noise machine (unheard of in anything but luxury hotels). It was just outside the town and we were able to walk to restaurants and shops. The room was modern with luxurious bedding and towels and spotlessly clean. I highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the Lake Lure or Hickory Nut area

I planned a weekend trip [surprise trip ] for my wife , and the place was great best sleeping beds and quite and the neat thing was the nature sound machine, and I have stayed in hotels big and small for ten years traveling the southeast never have i been treated like [ roxy ] treated us felt like family a very sweet ,who went out of her way for me , I had oedered flowers to be delivered at the last min the florest told me that they could'nt deliever to the address which really put a damper on my plans to say the lease, yet [roxy hope I got her name right ]stepped up to the plate when she did'nt have too , when we got there and checked in and opened the door to our room much to my surprise ,she had used rose petals to make a heart shape on our bed, talk about customer service,WOW, if I ever go back up and we probley will I hope she is there to serve us , she's a keeper for sure,

Loved everything about the place, the front office was clean and the staff friendly. The rooms were clean and beds comfy. They just put in noise makers in the room to drown out the street noise so that was perfect. The kids got to get free movies which worked out great when it was time to chill. We had a wonderful 2 night stay.
